Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. The order weighs 28.4 grams without its screwplate and measures 45.03 mm in width and 47.03 mm in height.
In decent condition with medium overall wear and a nice layer of patina to the silver. The enamels are without repairs but show a chip on the tip of the 12 o’clock ray of the red star. The white enamels are problem free. the order comes with its original, time period screwplate and its screw has not been shortened.
Brief description of his feat of arms or achievements:
He has participated in the Great Patriotic War since June 22, 1941. In the combat operations of the regiment across various fronts, he played a direct role in ensuring the technical maintenance of aircraft. Under his supervision, the regiment successfully carried out 846 combat sorties without a single technical failure.
In the second half of 1944, through his dedicated efforts in technical service, 34 combat-damaged aircraft were repaired and returned to service. Thanks to his skillful management and deep knowledge of aircraft mechanics, he ensured the uninterrupted operation of combat aviation.
For his diligent and highly responsible approach to his duties, his mastery of aviation technology, and his ability to provide continuous technical support under combat conditions, he has earned great authority and respect among both technical personnel and command.
For his selfless work and excellent organizational abilities in maintaining and repairing 24 combat aircraft in fully operational condition, and for his contribution to aviation readiness in battle, he is deserving of the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class.
