Researched Soviet Order of Suvorov 3rd class #3165
Awarded to Guards Senior Lieutenant Aleksandr Ivanovich Funtikov (Александр Иванович Фунтиков)
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 50.43 mm in width and weighs 24.25 gram. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor are located on its reverse. The minimum known serial number is 2142 and the maximum is 12247.
This original order of Suvorov is in excellent condition with flawless enamels. Most details are visible and the higher parts of the order show little wear. There have been no repairs and the screwpost has not been shortened. The reverse shows no dings or scratches and the order comes with its time period silver screwplate.

Short Description of his feat of arms:
“During the capture of the town of Vinnitsa on January 15, 1945 comrade Funtikov and his company decided the outcome of battle by taking the village of Vinnitsa, thus enabling our tanks to advance. Comprade Funtikov’s company carried out its combat mission perfectly and killed dozens of German soldiers and officers.
Comrade Funtikov’s company repelled a counter attack by enemy tanks and infantry. In doing so blew up a tank with an antitank grenade. Through personal example comrade Funtikov inspired his men to accomplish their tasks.”
