Soviet Order of the Red Banner #388318
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 45.58 mm in height and 36.39 mm in width. It weighs 24.1 gram. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor are located at the 6 o’clock position.
This order of the Red Banner is in perfect condition with full gold plating. None of the higher parts on the obverse show any wear and the details are all crisp. The red enamel is absolutely stunning without any dings or scratches. There are no repairs and the connection ring has not been cut.
The Order of the Red Banner recognized military deeds. Before the establishment of the Order of Lenin, the order functioned as the highest (and practically the only) military order of the USSR. Practically all well-known Soviet commanders became Cavaliers of this Order. Also awarded to NKVD personnel.
