For showing initiative by opening fire with his machine-gun squad on 13 July 1944, destroying three enemy firing positions that were attempting to attack our right flank. In the process, up to 20 enemy soldiers were eliminated
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.68 mm in width, 48.34 mm in height and weighs 27.3 grams without its suspension. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.
In nice condition considering it is an early piece. The areas like the tower show medium wear but a fair amount of detail is still visible. There are several small dings and scratches to the silver on both sides but none distracting from overall appeal of the order. The enamels are all fully present without repairs and show some insignificant superficial flaking only. Its connection ring has not been cut and its early double layer steel suspension is time period to the order.

Comrade Vlasov, during the fighting at Hill (Height) 99 on 13 July 1944, showed initiative and opened fire with his machine-gun squad, destroying three enemy firing positions that were attempting to attack our right flank.
In the process, up to 20 enemy soldiers were eliminated.
During the company’s withdrawal, he covered the retreat of his unit with his squad.
Senior Sergeant Vlasov is worthy of being awarded the Order of Glory, 3rd Class.
