Soviet Medal for the 20th Anniversary of the RKKA 1938
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 32.43 mm in diameter, 35.84 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 23.3 grams without its suspension. By the looks of the color of the enamel in combination with the bronze connection link, this medal might be one of the early produced pieces which were originally on a rectangular suspension.
In excellent, above average condition with all details crisp and a small amount of gold plating on the two XXs still visible. The enamel shows some minor superficial dings and scratches but none distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. Its double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.
