For actions during the Battle of Kursk, where he destroyed an enemy direct-fire gun on July 8, 1943, and suppressed hostile gunfire near Hill 203 on July 13, 1943
Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.1 mm in diameter and 42.6 mm in height (including the eyelet) and it weighs 27.3 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in nice, above average condition with its details crisp and a medium patina to the silver on both sides. Most (apx 80%) of the original red lacquer is still present and its connection ring has not been cut. The brass suspension is time period to the medal.

To Junior Sergeant – mortar crew commander of the regiment’s 120mm mortar battery Nikolai Tikhonovich TARYANIK for destroying an enemy gun deployed for direct fire on July 8, 1943. On July 13, 1943, near Hill 203, he suppressed enemy gunfire.
