Awarded to Kh. Pirmatov (Х. Пирматов) according to Orders of the Soviet Republics by Anatoly Kutsenko & Yuri Smirnov

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 43.94 mm in width, 44.77 mm in height and weighs 22.0 grams without its screwplate. On the left side of the reverse is the serial number ‘530’. On the right are the silver purity mark ‘916’ and the Moscow hallmark ‘ХЭМ’ (Художественно-эмальерная мастерская / Artistic Enamel Workshop).
In excellent condition with its details perfectly visible and crisp and an appealing patina to the silver on both sides. The red enamels are well preserved without repairs and only show a superficial flake on the bottom right side of the first part of the banner. The white enamels are flawless. The order shows relatively few dings and contact marks and dings and light overall wear the the raised areas. Its screw appears to be full length and the comes with its well fitted silver screwplate.
A true rarity, especially in this condition!
The Order of the Red Banner of Labour of the Uzbek SSR was established to honor individuals and organizations for contributions to the economic development of the Uzbek Republic. It was first proposed in 1925 and officially instituted in 1926. 466 individuals and over 40 organizations received the order by the end of 1933 and between 1933-1949, 73 recipients lost their awards due to political repression. Confiscated or lost orders were replaced using stored duplicates. As of now, fewer than 40 examples remain in museums, only 15 of which are from the original 1926 pattern.
