Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade
Variation 2 with an U-shaped Eyelet
Made of brass. Measures 32.03 mm in width, 37.19 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 17.0 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in nice condition with medium overall wear and a fair amount of the original luster still present. Part of the raised parts on it obverse like the wreath surrounding the edges lack some details but most are still visible. The reverse shows less wear with all details crisp. The medal comes with a time period brass suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Belgrade between 29 September and 22 October 1944.
