Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade
Variation 2 with an U-shaped Eyelet
Dated 18 February 1949
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.04 mm in width, 36.76 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 16.9 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent condition. Most details are still visible even the wreath shows light wear only. There are several dings and contact marks but noting distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. The brass suspension is time period to the medal.
Its accompanying document is dated 18 February 1949 and is numbered A 107999
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Belgrade between 29 September and 22 October 1944.
