Medal for the Capture of Berlin variation 1
Made of brass. Measures 32.07 mm in width, 37.28 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.6 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in nice, above average condition with crisp details and a fair amount of its original luster still present. Both sides show few dings and scratches and the medal comes with its time period double layer suspension and old ribbon.
The Medal “For the Capture of Berlin” was awarded to soldiers of the Red Army, Navy, and troops of the NKVD, direct participants of the assault and capture of the city as well as to the organizers and leaders of combat operations in the capture of this city.
