Medal for the Capture of Berlin variation 2 (U-shaped eyelet)
Made of brass. Measures 32.12 mm in width, 37.50 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.2 grams without its suspension.
In superb condition with its details perfectly crisp and all of its original luster still present. Both sides show few traces of wear and the medal comes with its time period brass suspension.
The Medal “For the Capture of Berlin” was awarded to soldiers of the Red Army, Navy, and troops of the NKVD, direct participants of the assault and capture of the city as well as to the organizers and leaders of combat operations in the capture of this city.
