Awarded to Major Pilot Georgij Leonidovich Belikhov (Георгий Леонидович Белихов)
For completing 25 successful combat sorties with bravery and initiative. Despite sustaining damage during missions, he maintained his position and landed successfully. He demonstrated exceptional piloting skills and successfully completed multiple air raids, setting enemy targets ablaze. Even when his aircraft was hit, he remained composed and returned safely to base, showcasing exemplary discipline and performance

Order of the Patriotic War 1st class #127074
Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. Measures 45.53 mm in height, 43.86 mm in width and weighs 31.0 grams without its screwplat.
In excellent condition with an appealing rainbow like patina to the gold on both sides. The silver and gold base shows few dings or scratches. The red and white enamels are well preserved without damage or repairs and show some dings and scratches only. The screw of the order has not been shortened and the order comes with its time period screwplate.
Order of the Red Star # 3392965
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 48.16 mm in width, 46.40 in height and weighs 30.3 grams without its screwplat.
The order is in superb condition with flawless enamels and crisp details. Its screw has not been shortened and the order comes with its time period screwplate.
Order of the Red Star # 3483510
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 48.50 mm in width, 46.52 in height and weighs 30.9 grams without its screwplate.
Like the previous Red Star this piece is in near mint condition with perfect enamels and few traces of wear.
Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class #4323378 with its matching document
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 46.18 mm in height, 44.58 mm in width and weighs 27.8 grams without its screwplate.
In problem free condition without repairs and few traces of wear. It matching document mentions the serial number.

In nice condition with all pages firmly attached. It mentions the Order of the Patriotic War 1st class, the two Red Stars and a medal for Combat Merit and a Red Banner (the last two are missing). The booklet also contains an original picture of Major Belikhov.

Research to the Order of the Patriotic War 1st class:
During his participation in the Patriotic war on the 1st and 4th Ukrainian fronts, he conducted 25 successful combat sorties. He excellently performed his combat missions. His conduct in combat engagements is brave, initiative, and decisive. He flies on A-20-G aircraft and his piloting technique is excellent. He perfectly mastered bombing sights and gears and operates them himself. He remains calm in complicated combat setting. His personal discipline and combat performance is an example to others.
On 14.08.1944, in an enemy breakthrough operation on the L’viv sector, his aircraft formation was attacked by enemy fighter planes. BELIKHOV’s aircraft sustained damage to the engine control mechanisms, but despite that, thanks to his persistence, he maintained his position in the formation and landed successfully on his home base.
On 16.08.1944, while in the air over his target, half of elevator surface was shot off by enemy flack, but the pilot successfully flew his aircraft and landed it on the home base.
On 09.10.1944, he participated in air raid as part of 9 aircrafts against the station Beregovo. 2 enemy railway trains and a storage depot were set ablaze. The results were confirmed by aerial control photography.
On 20.10.1944, in air raid as part of 5 aircrafts against the railway station Kysak, an enemy train with troops and ammunitions was set ablaze, the station building was demolished. The results were confirmed by aerial control photography. This mission was mentioned and distinguished in the front line newspaper.
On 18.01.1945, in an enemy breakthrough operation in the sector Jaslo – Gorlice, while in the air over his target, his aircraft was hit by the enemy flack. Comrade BELIKHOV sustained a light contusion, but remained in self control and returned to the home base on one remaining functioning engine.
For excellent execution of the combat missions on the front of struggle against the German invaders and exhibited courage and bravery, he deserves to be bestowed with order “PATRIOTIC WAR I CLASS”.
