Description
Soviet Medal for Bravery #360391
Awarded to Sr. Sergeant Ivan Kirillovich Lopukhov (Иван Кириллович Лопухо)
Â
Made of solid silver. Measurements; 37.40 mm in diameter and 2.37 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 42.47 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 30.3 gram without its suspension. The suspension measures 25.70 mm in width at its narrowest point and 31.32 at its widest point.Â
The medal for Bravery is in nice but worn condition. The higher laying parts like the rivets on the side of the tank and the canons show strong wear but a lot of details are still visible. The enamel filling the letters is lost as is seen often with these early wartime medals which were worn during severe combat situations. The suspension is original to the medal and its connection ring has not been cut. The rectangular plate holding the ribbon and screwplate are time period and original.
