Made of solid silver and enamels. It measures 26.11 mm in height (flagpole) and 29.50 mm in width. It weighs 8.8 gram without its screwplate. The reverse shows a stamped mint mark “MD” and a hand engraved serial number pointing towards the 5th convocation (1958-1962).
The badge is in nice condition, with crisp details and much of the original gold plating intact under a pleasing patina. The red enamel is well preserved with no repairs or chips, though it has a few small dings and scratches. It comes with its well-fitted screwplate, and the screw remains full length.
