Made of gold- and silver-plated German silver. It measures 29.37 mm in height including its eyelet, 25.83 mm in width and weighs 8.1 grams without its suspension. The suspension is authentic to the medal and measures 24.81 mm in width at his widest point and 15.99 in height at its narrowest point. The medal is numbered #2535 on its reverse.
In excellent condition, with sharp edges, full gold plating, and minimal signs of wear. The lettering on the reverse and the serial number remain crisp and well-defined. The suspension features its original period components, including the ribbon, rectangular plate, hexagonal nut, and screwplate. The connecting ring between the suspension and the medal is intact, with the screw uncut and unshortened.

Stalin Prize holders could exchange their medals and documents for the appropriate of the State Prize in the age of de-Stalinization.
