Soviet Order of the Red Star #3151884
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 47.73 mm in width, 45.48 mm in height and weighs 30.5 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
In excellent condition with most details present and light to medium overall wear. The wine red enamels are beautiful without repairs but show a superficial chip on the very tip of the 7 o’clock and the lower part of the 3 o’clock rays of the red star. The silver shows medium patina on both sides and its screw has not been shortened. The order comes with its time period and well fitted nut.
The Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service; prior to the creation of the long service awards.
