Order of the Red Star #2933714
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.10 mm in width, 46.59 mm in height; weighs 29.9 grams. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
This order is in good overall condition with its details crisp. The red enamels are generally well preserved apart from a superficial chip on the 5 o’clock ray. Both sides show a medium toning to the silver and its screw has not been shortened. Its well fitted nut is time period to the order.
The Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service; prior to the creation of the long service awards.
