Short excerpt and translation of the research:

Zaitseva, in battles with the Germans on the Oder River in subsequent battles for the villages of Malno and Karzig near Berlin, showed an example of a war signaler. In these stubborn battles, under continuous shelling, despising death for the sake of victory, skillfully boldly provided the work of a telephone operator to a switchboard operator, and for all the time of the battles she provided good communication. Repeatedly eliminated gusts in the communication line, doing this under continuous fire. Perseverance, the ability not to know fear, was shown in stubborn battles to destroy the group of Germans southeast of Berlin, ensuring clear communications. For the courage shown, ignorance of fear in the fight against the Germans, she is worthy of the government award order of the “Red Star”.
