With award booklet in excellent condition mentioning only these two awards and written out to Grigori Fedorovich Yemelin
Soviet Order of the Red Star
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.06 mm in width; 46.53 mm in height and weighs 29.7 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
This original order is in excellent condition with much detail. The red enamel is problem free with just minor contact marks. The obverse shows some residue of green polishing material which is often seen with old silver awards. This can easily been removed when preferred. Its screw has not been shortened and the nut is time period to the order.
Medal for Combat Merit
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 32.32 mm in width; 36.64 mm in height and weighs 19.4 gram.
This medal is in excellent condition with crisp details. The red enamel is flawless and there are almost no dings and scratches on either side of the medal. Its connection ring has not been cut and the suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal.
