Soviet Order of the Red Star #1887206
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.32 mm in width, 46.37 mm in height and weighs 29.7 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
This original order is in excellent condition with much detail. The red enamel shows some small contact marks only. Both sided show a beautiful toning and its screw has not been shortened.
Probably awarded in the spring of ’45 so with nice research potential.
The Soviet Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
