Soviet Order of the Red Banner of Labor #3462
To Coal Miner Mikhail Ivanovich Kureyev. (Михаил Иванович Киреев)
Order of the Red Banner of Labor; made of silver and enamels. Measurements; 37.27 mm in width; 45.33 mm in height and weighs 37.4 gram. The mint mark “Mondvor” is located above the screw post in one line and the serial number “3462” is positioned at the bottom of its reverse. Next to the serial number is the makers mark ‘KK’. The order was awarded in 1939.
This original order is in excellent condition with all details crisp. The red, blue and white enamels are problem free and the orders shows most gold plating. A beautiful patina is present on both sides and the screw is full length. There have been not repairs and its silver nut fits perfectly.
An early screwback variation in excellent, far above average condition. A rarity as such!!!
