Description
Order of the Red Banner of Labor #12253
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 37.1 mm in width, 46.0 mm in height and weighs 39.2 grams without its screwplate. The curved mint mark “Mondvor Dvor” is located above the screw post in two lines and the serial number ‘12253’ is positioned at the bottom of its reverse.
In excellent condition, with all details sharp and well-defined. The red, blue, and white enamels are well-preserved, free of repairs, and show a microscopic chip on the little red star only. Much of the original gold plating is intact, while the silver base has developed an attractive patina on both sides. The screw remains unshortened, and the order has never been modified or converted to a suspension type. It includes its original silver screwplate, which twists smoothly and securely.
An early screwback variation in excellent, well above average condition. A rarity as such
