Soviet Order of the Red Banner 2nd award #24509
Awarded to submarine midshipman Leonid Moiseevich Sigalov (Леонид Моисеевич Сигалов) for long service
Order of the Red Banner 2nd award: Made of silver and enamels. Measures 36.21 mm in width and 44.03 mm in height and weighs 24.3 gram without its suspension. The mint mark is located above the serial number in two straight lines.
This original order is in near mint condition with all details crisp. The red enamel on the banners is flawless as is the enamel on the center red star. The order shows a light patina on both sides and its connection ring has not been cut. The double layer steel suspension is time period to the order.
Sigalov serviced on both the S-51 and the S-102 submarine. The S-51 sub is turned into a monument in the Murmansk area
