Brief, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:

Comrade Vasilevsky V. V. occupies the post of squad commander of the 37th Guards separate reconnaissance company. He at first crossed the Danube river under incessant enemy artillery and machine-gun fire, knocking the opponent out of the front trenches and fixing on a small point of land on the right bank of the Danube River. The enemy tried to regain its footing and 3 times repeatedly performed counterattacks. Running out of ammunition and to hold the occupied line with the detachment, comrade Vasilevsky went on the offensive to beat the enemy with a shovel and grenades. After capturing a German machine gun, comrade Vasilevsky began firing it at the Germans, killing 34 German soldiers and capturing 4. Acting decisively and boldly, comrade Vasilevsky was one of the first to burst into the first village on the right bank of the Danube River, wherein 3 guns, 17 rifles, carts with ammunition and 8 enemy soldiers were taken.

Comrade Vasilevsky V. V. deserves the governmental award of the Order “Red Banner”.
