Scarce and desirable piece
Short Description of his feat of arms:
Thanks to his skillful leadership and efficient utilization of the subordinate sapper troops, he managed to organize construction of 5 river crossing sites for the division troops despite deadly enemy artillery-mortar barrages and air bombardment. This effort enabled rapid thrust and capture of bridgehead on the western bank of Desna river.
Disregarding mortal danger from the enemy artillery-mortar fire and air strikes, he personally took direct part and supervised crossing by all the division sub-units. His personal example inspired his sappers for accelerated work for construction of the river crossing sites for the division.
