Made of silver and enamels. Measures 31.1 mm in width, 40.3 mm in height and it weighs 25.9 gram with its suspension (19.8 without).
In excellent, above average condition. The details are crisp and both sides show an appealing toning to the silver and few dings and scratches. The blue and white enamels on the early mirror reverse suspension are well preserved considering its a wartime awarding, and show some small flakes only.
This decoration was awarded to all mothers bearing and raising 7 children. It was awarded at the first birthday of the last child, when that seven other children remained alive. Children who had perished under heroic, military or other respectful circumstances were also counted.
