Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 29.64 mm in width, 41.16 mm in height and weighs 20.6 grams without and 27.8 grams with its suspension.
In excellent, above average condition with light overall wear. Its details are crisp and both sides show few dings and scratches. The blue, red and white enamels are problem free on both the suspension and the medal itself.
This decoration was awarded to all mothers bearing and raising 8 children. It was awarded at the first birthday of the last child. Children who had perished under heroic, military or other respectful circumstances were also counted.
