Scarce variation without a dimple on its reverse
Made out of solid gold, platinum and enamels. Measures 42.76 mm in height including its eyelet, 38.07 mm in width and it weighs 33.4 grams without its suspension. The serial number and the mint mark are located on its reverse.
The order is in overall good condition with the details of the raised parts like Lenin’s face well defined and relative few dings and scratches on either side. The red enamels show a repair on the 3 o’clock of the banner but are otherwise well preserved. The grey enamels are problem free. chip does not distract from the overall appearance of the order. Its connection ring has been cut and the steel suspension is time period to the order.
This variation does not show the dimple on its reverse which is shown on later suspension type orders of Lenin. The minimum known serial number is 20994 and the maximum is 27087.
