For cutting through enemy barbed wire and breaking into enemy trenches on November 13, 1943, repelling multiple flank attacks, continuing to fight alone after his comrades were wounded, and killing six while wounding four German soldiers
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.14 mm in width, 47.70 mm in height and weighs 23.1 grams without its suspension. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.
This early order is in worn condition. The raised areas show strong wear with some detail worn off. However, the shape of the tower and wreath are still visible. The enamels are mostly present without repairs but show some chips on the red star on the Spaskkaya tower and the top left of the red banner. Its connection ring has been cut and its early double layer steel suspension is time period to the order.

On November 13, 1943, during the fighting for height 114.6, located near Marimanovo-Rudnya in the Gomel Oblast, he and three other soldiers cut away the enemy barbed wire and broke through to the enemy trenches, meanwhile repelling several enemy flank attacks with grenades and their personal weapons.
During the fighting his fellow soldiers were wounded. He ordered them to crawl back to their own trenches, while he himself repelled several attacks by Germans charging his position. During the fighting he killed 6 German soldiers and wounded 4.
For bravery and courage he deserves to be awarded the Order of Glory, 3rd Class.
