Awarded to Ivan Petrovich Fedorenko (Иван Петрович Федоренко)
For destroying multiple enemy machine guns, pillboxes, and a mortar battery in April–May 1944, killing and scattering about two platoons of infantry, and enabling the advance of Soviet troops under heavy fire
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.19 mm in width, 48.56 mm in height and weighs 22.0 grams without its suspension. This duplicate has the typical small font stamped serial number accompanied by the often seen Cyrillic ‘D’ (Д).
In superb, well above average condition with crisp details and almost no traces of wear. The enamels are perfectly preserved without repairs and both sides show an appealing dark patina to the silver. Its connection ring has not been cut and the order comes with its time period suspension and old ribbon.
Duplicates were (rarely) given to awardees who lost their award due to exceptional circumstances beyond their control like combat or natural disasters

In battles with the German invaders, he proved himself brave and courageous.
Serving as aimer from April 19 to 25, 1944, his cannon destroyed 4 machine guns, damaged 3 pillboxes, suppressed 1 mortar battery, and killed about a platoon of enemy infantry.
Despite enemy fire, he precisely aimed the cannon at designated targets.
On April 19, 1944, with point-blank fire, he destroyed 1 machine gun, enabling our infantry to advance.
From May 7 to 10, 1944, Fedorenko and his cannon destroyed 1 machine gun, 2 light machine guns, and scattered about a platoon of enemy infantry.
He deserves to be awarded the Order of Glory, 3rd Class.
