In above average condition considering it is an early variation. Its details are still extremely well defined and even the raised parts like Nevsky’s bust show almost no wear. Most of the original gold plating is still present on the wreath, poleaxes and swords. The enamels are mostly original and problem free apart from a repair on the 12 o’clock ray. One of the rivets at 11 o’clock is missing but the parts are firmly attached. The order comes with its time period and well fitted silver screwplate and its screw has not been shortened.

Short Description of his feat of arms or achievements:

Taking part in the fighting at the city of Livny as a machine gun platoon leader in the 487th Rifle Regiment, he repelled 4 enemy counterattacks, inflicting heavy casualties in manpower upon the enemy, killing as many as 100 men. While in the defensive along the Tim River, the enemy conducted a reconnaissance-in-force mission and drove a wedge into our lines. Comrade Semenenkov headed a platoon of submachine gunners and dislodged the Germans from their acquired positions, inflicting casualties in manpower: 20 men were killed and 8 were taken prisoner.

During the fighting for the city of Krichev he was the first to cross the Sozh River. With a group of 15 men he secured a bridgehead on the right bank of the river.

During the fighting of March 25-27 near the village of Belitsa he was in command of his battalion, capturing the 1st and 2nd line of enemy trenches. Over the course of three days of fighting he fought off more than 8 attacks by enemy forces supported by tanks. Whenever required he joined the frontline units and inspired the troops and officers through personal example to perform heroic deeds.

For his personal valor, bravery, and courage and his ability to command his battalion under difficult conditions, he deserves the Order of the Red Banner.
