Soviet medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 1a with a separately soldered eyelet and less detailed rays and wreath on the obverse of the medal
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.21 mm in width, 37.75 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.4 grams without suspension.
The medal is in a decent, about average condition with medium overall wear and a good amount of the details are still visible. Some of the gold plating is still present although much has been worn off. The double layer steel suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.
