Soviet medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 1a with a separately soldered eyelet and less detailed rays and wreath on the obverse of the medal
Medal for the Liberation of Prague: made of gilded brass. Measures 32.18 mm in width, 37.45 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.5 gram.
The medal is in nice condition with medium wear on the higher laying parts but most details still visible. A fair amount of gold plating is still present and the brass suspension is time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.
