Soviet Medal for the Defense of Odessa Variation 1 WW2
Medal for the Defense of Odessa: made of gilded brass. Measures 32.04 mm in width, 36.93 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 16.3 gram.
This medal is in nice but worn condition. There are many dings and scratches on both sides but most details are still visible. The double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal as is its connection ring.
Scarce to find!
This medal was awarded to all participants in the defence of Odessa. Both to soldiers and civilians, who took part in the defence of Odessa during its siege by German forces.
