Made of brass. Measures 32.07 mm in width, 36.61 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.1 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent, well above average condition with perfect details. Almost all of the gold-like luster is still present and the brass suspension is time period to the medal.
Stunning piece and hard to upgrade
The Medal “For the Defense of the Soviet Transarctic” was awarded to all participants in the defense of the Soviet Arctic region – soldiers of the Red Army, Navy and troops of the NKVD, as well as persons from the civilian population who took part in the defense of the North.
