Variation 2 with its eyelet struck as part of the medal
Awarded to Guards Private Dmitry Afanasyevich Kovalenko (Дмитрий Афанасьевич Коваленко)
Made of brass. Measures 32.17 mm in diameter, 37.16 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.1 grams without its suspension.
In nice condition with most details still visible. Both sides show several dings and scratches and a dark patina to the brass. The medal comes with its time period brass suspension.
Its accompanying document is in decent but worn condition and is numbered A 212270 and dated 28 August 1948.
