Certificate

This paper stated that Tyutyukin was indeed a partisan. Although difficult to read, the main text reads “he was indeed a part of the Kletnya partisan detachment from 15 ??? 19?? till 20.10.1943 on the position as a light machine-gunner.”

After being a partisan, Tyutyukin was drafted by the regular army, as there is Order of Glory citation for him from May 1945, where he served as a reconnaissance man in 849 artillery regiment. The interesting combat citation for his Order of Glory does not mention his partisan service but this was far from always mentioned. His Victory Medal document is signed by the commander of the same 849 arty regiment. He lived to get his OPW2 in 1985.

In the picture gallery we have added a picture of the partisan parade on 20 September 1943 in Orel city. Since Tyutyukin  was in the partisan unit until 19 September 1943, he most likely participated in the parade too.
