This medal for Impeccable Service in the MOOP Uzbek SSR (Ministry of Protecting the Public Order in the Uzbekistan) is made of silver plated brass and enamels. It measures 32.01 mm in diameter, 37.05 mm in height and weighs 16.0 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with all details crisp and an appealing patina to the silver plating. The enamels are well preserved without repairs and shows some small dings and contact marks only. Its suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal and its connection ring has not been cut.
‘MOOP’ was a temporary substitute for the MVD during the 60s.
