Scarce duplicate awarding
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 32.07 mm in diameter, 36.96 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 19.0 gram without its suspension. This duplicate has the typical small font stamped serial number accompanied by the often seen Cyrillic ‘D’ (Д). These can be found on the bottom of its reverse.
In great, well above average condition with few dings only. Its details are crisp and all of the red enamel filling the lettering ‘CCCP’ is still present. Its connection ring has not been cut and its suspension is made of brass.
Duplicates were (rarely) given to awardees who lost their award due to exceptional circumstances beyond their control like combat or natural disasters
