Made of solid silver. Measurements; 32.07 mm in diameter and 2.79 mm in thickness. The height of the medal; 36.24 mm (including the eyelet). The eyelet itself is 4.81 mm wide and the medal weighs 22.1 gram without its suspension. The suspension measures 25.24 mm in width at its narrowest point and 31.19 at its widest point. The minimum known serial number is 28996 and the maximum is 36446 so less than 8000 pieces of this variation were produced.
The medal is in pristine, well above average condition with only some small dings and scratches. All details are crisp and the red enamel is all present. All parts of the award are authentic including its silver suspension block and silver screw, the nut, the plate holding the ribbon and the screw plate tightening it all up. The ribbon is old and probably belongs to the medal too and its connection ring has not been cut.
Next to impossible to upgrade. Probably the best quality rectangular suspension type we have ever handled. Rare as such!
