Soviet Medal for Combat Merit with document
Awarded to the Tatar Sergeant Ziya Khairutdinovich Nasibulin (Зия Хайрутдинович Насибулин)
Nasibulin was wounded during WW2 and was awarded the Medal for Combat Merit in 1951. However, he received the medal itself in 1990. only shortly before the USSR collapsed.
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 32.12 mm in diameter, 37.11 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 19.2 gram without its suspension.
In near mint condition with perfect details; even the higher laying parts on its obverse show no wear. Both sides of the medal are virtually free of dings and scratches and the enamel is all present and pristine. Its connection ring has been cut and the medal comes with its time period suspension and ribbon.
The booklet is in excellent condition too with all pages firmly attached. The document is is numbered K 859542
