Medal for Bravery #556158
Made of solid silver. It measures 37.35 mm in diameter, 42.56 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 26.5 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in a nice, above average condition with much detail present and a light patina on both sides. The raised parts like the rivets on the side of the tank and the canons are show medium wear. Much of the original red lacquer is still present although some of the letters have been repaired. The double layer suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.
Probably awarded the first half of 1943 so with excellent research potential
