Soviet Medal for Bravery #415407
Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.05 mm in diameter, 41.93 mm in height (including the eyelet) and it weighs 26.1 gram without its suspension. This medal was originally on a rectangular suspension which was replaced by a pentagon one according to new 1943 regulations.
The medal is in worn condition with its red lacquer almost completely lost. There are many dings and scratches on both sides and the higher laying parts show medium to strong wear. Its connection ring has not been cut and the medal comes with an old double layer steel suspension.
Probably awarded during the spring of 1943 so with excellent research potential
