Awarded to the female Master Sergeant Valentina Ivanovna Izotova (Валентина Ивановна Изотова)
For taking care of the severely wounded troops -often working continuously for 2-3 days without rest- and donating 7 littles of her blood for the sake of saving lives of the severely wounded
Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.22 mm in diameter and 42.52 mm in height (including the eyelet) and it weighs 29.2 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent, well above average condition with its details crisp and an appealing dark patina on both sides. Almost all (apx 95%) of the original red lacquer is still present and its connection ring has not been cut. The brass suspension is time period to the medal and its stickpin is deformed but functional.

Citation:
Master Sergeant of medical coprs IZOTOVA proved herself as brave, steadfast, and skilful medic during the combat operations of the 1 Belorussian front since 15 January 1945. Often working continuously for 2-3 days without rest, she scrupulously performed her duties taking care of the severely wounded troops. During her service in the battalion since May 1944, comrade IZOTOVA donated 7 littles of her blood for the sake of saving lives of the severely wounded.
For exhibited courage and selfless attitude, she deserves state award – medal “For Bravery”.
