Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.31 mm in diameter and 42.12 mm in height (including the eyelet) and it weighs 28.1 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in a decent, about average condition for this serial number range. Both sides show numerous dings and scratches but most details are still visible. Some of the original red lacquer is still present and its connection ring is a replacement. The steel suspension and old ribbon are time period to the medal.

Senior spotter-observer of the 2nd artillery battery Guards private first class PEKUR Nikolaj Nikiforovich is bestowed, because when the enemy attacked the battery positions in town Bromberg on the night of 25-26 January 1945, he was sent to a sector in front of the gun pieces and had to protect the artillery crews from the enemy submachine gunners, who infiltrated on the flanks. He eliminated 4 enemy soldiers forcing the rest to retreat.
