Medal for Bravery #1456467
Made of solid silver. It measures 37.15 mm in diameter and 2.64 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 41.20 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 27.8 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in nice but worn condition. The raised parts like the rivets on the side of the tank and the canons are still perfectly visible. There are several dings and scratches on both sides and the lacquer filling the lettering is lost. Its eyelet is bent backwards but is still securely attached to the medallion without the risk of falling off. The medal comes with its old double layer steel suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
Most likely awarded during the second half of 1944.
