Early Variation
This Guards Badge is made of gold plated brass and enamels. It measures 44.75 mm in height and 36.87 mm in width and weighs 16.4 gram without its screw plate.
This early Guards Badge is in excellent, well above average condition. The red and white enamels are free of repairs and chipping and have some minor contact marks only. The badge shows and attractive patina and much gold plating is still present. The screw has been shortened a few mm for more comfortable wear and the badge comes with its original time period screwplate.
