Soviet Guards Badge
Early post-war Soviet Guards Badge. Made of gold plated brass and enamels. The badge measures 47.17 mm in height, 34.32 mm in width and weighs 15.3 gram, not including its screwplate.
The badge is in excellent condition and comes with its time period screwplate. The white and red enamels are without damage and repairs and show some contact marks only. All details are crisp and some of the gold plating is still present.
These badges were awarded to the soldiers of elite ‘Guard’ units both during and after the Great Patriotic War.
