For leading his platoon and later a battery under intense enemy fire, ensuring their effective deployment and combat efficiency. Maintained command even after being wounded, he eliminated a total of 9 enemy tanks, 4 artillery pieces, 4 mortars, 36 pillboxes/machine gun nests and killed over 120 enemy soldiers

Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. Measures 45.89 mm in height, 44.17 mm in width and it weighs 31.9 grams without its screwplate.
In excellent condition with sharp details and moderate overall wear. The white and red enamels remain well-preserved, free of repairs or flaking, with only minor dings and contact marks. The reverse is similarly well-maintained, featuring a natural patina on both the gold and silver. The silver screwplate fits securely and its screw remains unaltered.

Made of silver, gold and enamels. Measures 47.56 mm in height, 45.76 mm in width and it weighs 25.4 grams without its screwplate.
In excellent condition with crisp details and light overall wear. The red and white enamels are well preserved without repairs and show dings and contact marks only. The order comes with its original and well fitted screwplate.
50th Anniversary of the KGB badge with document
Made of brass and enamels. It measures 47.15 in height, 26.45 mm in width and weighs 8.9 gram without its screwplate.
This badge is in excellent condition with its enamels well-preserved and a dark toning on both sides. There are few dings, scratches only and a fair amount of the silver and gold plating is still present. The raised details are crisp and its screw has not been shortened. The badge comes with its well fitted screwplate and there have been no repairs.
Its accompanying document is in excellent condition and is dated December 1968.
Brief description of his feat of arms or achievements for his Order of the Patriotic War 1st class:
Commissar of the fire platoon, Lieutenant Frolov, in battle for the Soviet Motherland has demonstrated courage, selflessness, and resilience.
On March 13, 1944, during an intense battle near the settlement of Mestyaki, under enemy fire, he personally led the attack of his platoon, skillfully maneuvering to ensure a successful breakthrough. During the enemy’s counterattack, he maintained order and control over his platoon, effectively directing fire.
On March 13, 1944, in a separate engagement near the same area, Lieutenant Frolov’s platoon destroyed two enemy machine gun nests and up to 20 enemy soldiers.
On March 15, 1944, in battle near another location, despite sustaining an injury, he continued to command his unit until the battle was won.
On March 18, 1944, in an engagement near Vyselki, Lieutenant Frolov personally adjusted artillery fire, directing it with such precision that it resulted in significant destruction of enemy forces.
For his exemplary bravery, resilience, and skill in inflicting heavy losses on the enemy, Lieutenant Frolov is deserving of the Order of the Red Banner.
Brief description of his feat of arms or achievements for his Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class:
Participating in the Great Patriotic War since November 9, 1943, Comrade Frolov has consistently demonstrated high standards of courage and bravery in battles against Nazi invaders.
In July 1944, during a battle near Hill Nadgornaya, Frolov led his battery into position under enemy fire and engaged enemy fortifications and anti-aircraft installations that were hindering the advance of Soviet troops. Within just 15 minutes, his battery eliminated five machine gun nests and two anti-aircraft positions, clearing the way for the advancing infantry.
In subsequent battles during the crossing of the Kapitan River, Frolov’s unit destroyed:
- 3 enemy tanks
- 2 artillery pieces
- 2 mortars
- 12 pillboxes
- 24 machine gun nests
- Up to 100 German soldiers
During the final breakthrough of enemy defenses in the area of Gliwice on March 28, 1945, under Frolov’s command, his battery destroyed another 6 machine gun nests, 2 mortars, and up to 20 enemy soldiers.
For his personal bravery, tactical skill, and leadership, which resulted in heavy losses for the enemy, Comrade Frolov is deserving of the Order of the Patriotic War 1st Class.
