On awarding the Ushakov Medal to citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
To be bestowed for personal courage and bravery exhibited during the Second World War participating in the Northern convoys
Made of solid silver. Measures 36.59 mm in width, 51.22 mm in height and weighs 35.0 gram without its suspension. Featuring admiral Ushakov surrounded by 84 ‘pearls’. The serial number, ‘5352’, is located on the reverse of the medal.
In pristine, mint condition with flawless details and complete blackening on the anchor. All suspension components are original and period-correct, including the patinated silver chain, ribbon, and the double-layer suspension. Its connection ring has not been cut.
Its accompanying document references this Ushakov Medal, is dated 10 March 2014, and is also in mint condition. The beautifully crafted velvet box was specially made by the Russian Mint and closes perfectly.
